About 0905, Flann and his sons were victorious over Flann mac Tighearnáin and the men of Breifne in the battle of Magh-Cumma. [2]
Flann died near Mullingar, County Westmeath, according to the Prophecy of Berchán, on 25 May 916, after a reign of 36 years, 6 months, and 5 days. [3]
